Hi Aravind,

Yes, Portfolios will help because each file is individually maintained.

Thanks,
Lori

Hi margarete byrne,

You can create form fields on an existing form (like from Word) in Acrobat. But, to create a brand new form, you’ll need to use the desktop app that is included in Acrobat Pro. called FormsCentral. Here is a tutorial on the subject:
https://acrobatusers.com/tutorials/create-new-pdf-and-web-forms

Thanks,
Lori

P.S. You should be aware that eventually the FormsCentral product will be retired.

When trying to create a portfolio, I get a pop up message “To view the Flash technology content in this PDF file, please install this version of Flash Player that supports Adobe Reader and Acrobat.”  I have installed the latest version of the Flash player, yet nothing displays when I open my portfolio.  What could be wrong, or I am I doing something wrong?

Acrobat XIPRO pdf combine multi pdf to one.  Do you have to re create bookmarks?  75% thru file\properties\initial view\bookmarks panel and page layout magnification. Are bookmarks suppose to save as at 75% with XI PRO. jg

Hi Ethan,

If you switch over to List View in the Combine Files dialog, you can enter specific pages in the Page Range column.

Thanks,
Lori

I have the latest Acrobat version. When combining multiple files to create a PDF, how do I choose specific pages of one document to insert into the combined file? For example, if I only want to combine pages 3-4 of one document into the new combined file, how would I do that?

Hi Shasta,

If you have the Pro. version, then all you need to do is click in the header area of the Portfolio layout. Then, in the right-hand Layout panel, you’ll see a panel open called Header Properties where you can add both Images and Text to the Header.

Thanks,
Lori

I have been trying to add a header where I can type in a title, information, logo etc, but have not been able to figure out how to do this.  I had the previous version but had to get a new computer, now its like im having to teach myself how to use this portfolio option all over again.  The previous version gave me the option to add a header, not this one.  is there any way to do this????

Every month I scan all my bills. Use Acrobat to OCR and organize all the scanned PDFs into one big paid-bills-file and store them. Super easy to find all the bills receipt etc. this was. The combine feature lets you order the files and works great as a tool.

I am not looking to buy yet another product.  I simply want to be able to merge two pdf files into one.  I used to be able to do that but you have improved the product to make is less useable.

Hi Jennifer,

Merging files is easy in Acrobat X, using the Pages Navigation panel by simply dragging and dropping (or Pages panel in the Tools pane). Here is a tutorial on the process - you don’t need to use Portfolios:
