Hi Rich,

You can find more detail on how to do this in this discussion:
http://answers.acrobatusers.com/ViewQuestion.aspx?questionid=16649

Also, there is a pre-existing Action (for Acrobat X) that does this as well that you can find here:
http://acrobatusers.com/actions-exchange/password-security

Thanks,
Lori

I can’t find the video demonstrating how to create an action for applying a password. Do you have the address for it?
Thanks,
Rich

Hi Patty,

I have Acrobat X but I don’t have all the options shown in the Tutorial under “Tools.”  Among others, I don’t have “Action Wizard.”  I only have Pages, Content, Forms, Recognize Text, Protection, and Sign & Certify.

Any idea why the difference?  My version of Acrobat X is 10.1.9.

Thanks,
Andrew
