Don't be afraid to try out the Actions in Acrobat X. It's easy to run Actions using the Action Wizard to automate PDF tasks. Here's an example using an Action that flattens fields and comments in a form. Follow these easy steps:
Check out the file—you'll see the fields and comments can't be selected. In the Comments panel, you see there aren't any comments left in the document. In the Contents panel, there aren't any comments or form fields listed. Now the form can be shared without worrying about changes.
